This work is the opening track on the CD Islas featuring Kyle Horch, Guillem Calvo and Pavel Timofejevsky


I used to listen to many compilations of what was called Ibiza ambient music, the music played in the chill-out rooms of clubs and the Cafe Del Mar. The piano writing is very much in that style, creating a dreamy texture over which the soprano saxophone plays long melodic lines.
